Welcome New Board of Directors Members

Kate's Kart would like to welcome Rob Hines and Ron Turpin as newly elected Board members for the 2012 term.

Melissa Stout was elected President, and Amanda Garner was elected Vice President. Laura Tranbarger will continue as Secretary, and Jennifer Haines will continue as Treasurer.

Other topics covered at the Annual Meeting were the 2012 budget, grants that are currently in the works, and a hospital update by Krista. Krista also reported that our 35,000th book was handed out in October!

The next Board of Directors meeting, which is open to all Kate's Kart volunteers, is scheduled for January 9, 2012, at 7:00 p.m., at Melissa Stout's home.

Benefit Scrap-a-Thon in The Works

A scrap-a-thon to benefit Kate's Kart is in the early planning stages for March or April, 2012. If you are a scrapbooker or other paper crafter, please keep an eye open for more details coming soon!

Please remember to keep your TB tests up-to-date! It is mandatory that this test is updated once per year for ALL hospitals.
