The 4th Annual Free Ice Cream Social benefitting Kate's Kart will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Grace Point Church (located on Mayhew Road near Saint Joe Center). Last year's event drew over 600 people, and we are expecting an even larger crowd this year!
This annual celebration is a family-oriented event designed to raise community awareness of Kate's Kart and help us continue providing free books to children at area hospitals. The organization, which has over 90 volunteers, will be accepting monetary donations and donations of new children's books at the event.
The ice cream social is a free event, open to the public, that includes live family-friendly music and entertainment, free kids' games and carnival-style rides, face painting, a Scholastic book fair, and of course FREE ICE CREAM!
Sponsors are needed for this event in order for it to be successful. We are asking your organization to thoughtfully consider sponsorship, either through financial support or the donation of time, volunteers, prizes, etc. (Kate's Kart is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, so financial donations are tax deductible.)
Donation amounts are as follows; however, ANY donation is sincerely appreciated:
Please email your organization's logo (in JPG or TIF format) to Laura Tranbarger at laura@kateskart.org in order to receive the proper acknowledgment on the Kate's Kart website, Ice Cream Social banners, and on the t-shirts, as applicable. Donations must be received no later than May 15, 2012, to be included on the t-shirts.
For additional information about sponsorship, please contact Melissa Stout at stoutclan5@frontier.com.
Thank you in advance for your support! |
